Delegated Fund
Grants are available from the Delegated Fund for any form of local transport and access improvements in rural areas. The following are just some examples of potential projects:- Transport needs surveys
- Parish transport guides
- Transport information noticeboards
- Community transport initiatives
- Walking or cycling initiatives
- Promotion of new/existing services
- Volunteer recruitment campaigns
- Training
- Minibus equipment
- Cycle parking facilities
The maximum grant available is £2,000 although in exceptional circumstances amounts up to £3,000 will be considered. Grants are limited to a maximum of 75% of the total project cost. The remaining 25% can either be in cash or in kind, for example costed voluntary labour. 100% funding can be awarded for applications under £1,000.
